EU Commission Proposes Cyber Security Rules for EU Bodies The European Commission has proposed that EU countries put a framework in place to manage cybersecurity risks at EU institutions. This proposal is part of a larger package of draft rules that would require all EU institutions to identify cybersecurity risks, create improvement plans for their respective cybersecurity postures, conduct assessments, and share information about incidents. The Commission also proposed that an information security regulation be drafted to define a set of minimum standards and rules for all EU institutions. - Engage with appropriate policy makers to share information on how ISACA and CMMI offerings can address the various aspects of these new regulations.
