Good Morning!

We are glad you are here and have taken the time to join us! We strongly believe that a thriving life is a life in Christ.  It is our goal to show you how to thrive and equip you to show others how to live in Christ. 

• July 13 - Rockin Jump Family Night: If you are planning on joining us for Rockin Jump Family Night please sign up at the welcome table at church! Children will be free and if adults would like to jump it will be $14 which will include your pair of jumping socks. We hope to see you there!
• June 26 - The Great Salsa Taste Off: Instead of our regular discussion groups after service today, please stick around and vote for your favorite salsa with your pennies, quarters, dollars or pay pal donations. All proceeds will be going toward our Women's Retreat!
• June 27-July 1 - Youth Camp: We will be leaving to Inlow Baptist Camp on June 27th and arriving back home on July 1. We ask that you join us in prayer for our students and sponsors that will be attending!

• June 29 & July 6 - Popsicle Night: Join us at Metro Verde Splash Pad at 6PM to have fun and to love on our community by passing out popsicles!
• July 17 - Watermelon: We will enjoy watermelon while we fellowship after service.
• July 28-30 - Women's Retreat: All women are welcome to join in on our summer womens' retreat! The trip will be July 28-30 in Ruidoso. Cost is $150, with $50 deposit due June 19, and the remaining $100 due on July 3. Contact Jeanette with questions @ (505) 270-6852!

This week we want to pray for families who are traveling on vacations, that they may be protected and kept safe by God's grace. We also have some families who are sick at the moment and are praying that God lays His healing hand on them to allow them to rest and recover quickly.

Lassiter Family

Logan and Grace Lassiter live in Las Cruces, NM with their two kids: Jacqueline (2) and Joash (7 mo). They also have 2 horses, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. Grace is from Los Lunas, NM and has been a nurse for four and a half years and is currently working in home health. Logan is from all over NM and is an exhaust cleaning specialist and hoping to soon become a business owner.

Logan and Grace met at a movie night at a mutual friend's house, but it wasn't until a couple of months later when Grace joined a regular pool night that they clicked. Logan was already going to Mesilla Park Community Church and Grace joined him from there. After a little over a year of dating they got engaged and were married July 9, 2016 (almost 6 years ago!).

Together, they enjoy going hiking, dancing, playing board games, and spending time with friends and family. Jacqueline likes spending time with her family, going to Rockin' Jump, and riding the horses. Joash is currently working on becoming an expert crawler.

When Pastor Derek and Terra announced they were going to be starting a new church, Logan and Grace knew they had been looking for a change and wanted to be a part of a smaller community. They have enjoyed the church planting journey and are looking forward to what is next.
