This is the sequel to Charlotte Engelkes' solo show and world wide success Miss Very Wagner. Back then it was the heroines of Wagner's operas that were under scrutiny. Now it's the men's' turn. In a specially made solo, the actor, singer and dancer Lindy Larsson performs the hero seeking his way among full and half gods, tight blood ties, self-pitying dragons, extinct birds and women who sleep in fire. The work examines heroism, as well as the feeling of growing up a stranger in one's own home. Sound designer Willi Bopp compiles a soundtrack of the best of Wagner's music, interspersed with completely new material.
This is captivating performance art and opera at its best filtered through Charlotte Engelkes' highly original imagination.
